Since its inception the festival has provided an open space for family-based activities to share traditional Asian cultures with the community, featuring a dedicated martial arts stage, cultural dances and song, the expansive Cultural Row of Asian countries, supporting local business, and most importantly- food. True to the values of Asian culture, the festival solidifies the essence of community and gathering, which is why the festival draws crowds of up to 10,000 every year.

제 3회 샌디에고 아시안 문화 축제는 샌디에고에서 제일 큰 규모의 아시안계 미국인과 퍼시픽 아일랜더 및 다국적 문화를 기념하는 행사입니다.  5월 12일 토요일 포인트로마 (Point Loma) 지역의 리버티스테이션 (Liberty Station) 에서 오후 12시 부터 5시까지 열립니다. 샌디에고 아시안 문화 축제는 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 유일한 놀이터입니다. 무술을 볼수있는 무대, 문화적인 춤과 노래, 다양한 여러 아시안 국가의 문화를 볼 수 있는 “Cultural Row” 를 통해 로컬 업소들 홍보에서부터 여러 음식 맛보기도 선보였습니다. 작년에 무려 10,000 명의 방문객을 모은 이 축제는 샌디에고에서 다국적 아시안 문화의 소중함을 알리고 모두를 한자리에 모이게 하는 특별한 행사입니다.
