Alright, expensive studies show that as the temperature increases, the amount of blog activity on this site decreases. You want proof? Find it yourself because its too hot outside, I’m just going to lie on my bed and keep blogging lazily while watching TV . Speaking of which, I’ve been watching a relatively entertaining show on television on TBS (thats Turner Broadcasting System not the TBS the Korean one) called Sullivan & Son.
The show is co-produced by comedian Vince Vaughn, Rob Long(Cheers) and Peter Billingsley (Iron Man). The show stars the uber hilarious Korean-Irish-American Steve Byrne (watch his standup at some point), and features a talented cast of comedian Ahmed Ahmed, comedian Owen Benjamin,Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years), Christine Ebersole (Royal Pains, Amadeus), Brian Doyle-Murray (Groundhog Day, Saturday Night Live), Jodi Long (Beginners), Valerie Azlynn (Tropic Thunder), Vivian Bang (Yes Man).
[extracted from tbs.com] In Sullivan & Son, Steve Byrne plays Steve Sullivan, a corporate attorney from New York who brings his girlfriend to his home in Pittsburgh for his father’s 60th birthday and learns that his Irish-American father, Jack Sullivan (Dan Lauria), and Korean Tiger Mom, Ok Cha (Jodi Long), are preparing to sell the multi-generational family business, a bar known as Sullivan & Son.
It doesn’t take Steve long to realize that where he really belongs is in the old neighborhood and running Sullivan & Son. And so begins Steve’s quest for a more meaningful and rewarding life behind the bar.

The show currently runs on Thursdays at 10/9C. Watch it before it gets replaced with more Big Bang Theory repeats.
