KEARNY MESA LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVAL
The Lunar New Year Festival will include over 100 vendor booths, non-stop live entertainment and concerts, traditional Lion Dance performances, and The Miss Vietnamese Traditional Dress Pageant. There will be 16 carnival rides making the Lunar New Year Festival the second largest fair in San Diego, next only to the Del Mar Fair. The first ever San Diego’s Most Talented Competition will recruit talent from LA, Orange County, and San Diego.

21st Annual San Diego Brazil Carnival
Brazilian Productions presents the 21st Annual San Diego Brazilian Mardi Gras Ball at San Diego Museum of Art, the most beautiful Carnival venue on the West Coast. San Diego Brazil Carnival 2013 features Carnival Bands, Capoeira, Parades, and Mardi Gras Beads.
Rich in beauty and color the Carnival presents a Spectacular Samba Show featuring dancers in glittering costumes adorned in sequins, beads and feathers accompanied by percussionists playing the authentic Batucada rhythms of Rio de Janeiro.
Since 1993, San Diego Brazil Carnival has been the Official Brazilian Mardi Gras Ball for the City of San Diego.

2013 Little Italy Carnevale
Saturday, February 9 – 8:30 PM to 1:30 AM
Grab your traditional Carnevale regalia and head to Little Italy for the 10th Annual Little Italy Carnevale. This year’s event takes place on India Street between W. Fir and W. Cedar Streets with the main stage on W. Date Street. This family oriented version of the Carnevale in Venice features live music and dancing, stilt-walkers, art and mask-making for kids, as well as great Italian food.
