Los Angeles Dodgers sign Ryu Hyun-Jin

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Hanwha Eagles left-handed pitcher Ryu Hyun-Jin to a 6 year, $36 Million contract.  Hyun-Jin, known for his deceptive change-up and fastball,  represented South Korea in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Hyun-Jin was also a part of the Gold Medal winning South Korean National Baseball Team in the Olympic Games and Asian Games.

To grasp that dollar amount, that is precisely *uses calculator* $36 million dollars more than what a KKonnect blogger makes in six years. But seriously, we blog for the thrill of it.
