September Quarterly Screening:
“Give Up Tomorrow”
When teenager Paco Larrañaga is accused of a double murder, the Philippines’ entire judicial system is put to the test. Years of alleged corruption meet political intrigue, and suddenly Paco’s case takes on international dimensions. This is you-can’t-make-it-up true crime storytelling at its finest and humanitarian filmmaking at its most pointed, taking on corruption and capital punishment with urgency and passion.
After the film screening, there will be a Q&A with the filmmaker.
